Today i got palmspins on my bed but always have to put my hand down to get myself the extra rotation. I need some advice on how to get the extra rotation and whether i shuld splitfoot or punt. Im not sure if its technique or speed because i only have 2 steps before go into palm spin. Any advice would be appreciated.
Someday I'll hear the winning the music.....someday

you should never split foot for a palm spin.
Do your best and nothing less.
Train hard and don't forget what your doing.
keep your mind focused and your disctraction thoughts tame.
don't over do anything but never do less than you can.
enjoy yourself but gain enjoyment from progression

I find palm spins much eaiser with a punting take off, although its not really a punt. I found it much easier to start learning them on things with a slanted top.

TIME TO GET THIS THREAD BACK ON TOPIC

If you're still having trouble with this, it'll likely be because you need to stay leaned over your hands all the way through the rotation, but you're coming out about halfway through and end up lazying out of it (from the sound of things).

Just try and imagine both hands are stuck to a spot that you rotate around, like a wheel on an axel ( ) or something. Imagine it so that, if it was possible, you'd be able to continuously rotate around that point, and the only reason you come out of the rotation is simply that you aren't able to keep yourself up for longer than the half rotation you need to do.

This is only an analogy, and doesn't really take into account the actual timings and whatnot of the move, I'm just trying to solve the particular problem you're having rather than teach the movement.
